Cyrus Streamers
What are the odds? You wait ages for a new Cyrus product to be released, and then three arrive at once! This will certainly go down as a good day in the annals of history. This month sees the debut of three Cyrus streamers - the Stream XP, the Stream X and the Streamline.
What is a stream anyway? Well, if you’ve always associated streams with outdated kitchen appliances used for putting the fizz back in your soda, think again. In 2011, streaming can mean only one thing - the continuous playback of digital music that is stored on an external network. Think internet radio, podcasts, USB sticks and iPods and you’re on the right lines.
What makes streaming so exciting is not the means by which the media arrives, but rather the ease with which it brings a whole new world of music into your living room - without the need to get out of your chair and change the CD. And with Cyrus’ sonic knowhow, there are no compromises in audio quality, with 24Bit playback supported on all their streamers.
The Stream XP can playback online music via wired or wireless connection and has five digital inputs, plus USB drive and iPod connections. As well as accessing thousands of internet radio stations, you can use it to improve audio from other devices such as your TV. Just plug the XP into your power amp(s) and speakers and you’re ready to go.
The Stream X does all of the above but without a pre-amp, and is thus designed for connection to an existing DAC within your hi-fi system, while the Streamline goes one better and crams all the goodness you need into one box. With a built in 30W power amp, the Streamline needs only speakers to become the ultimate digital music machine.
With stock arriving soon, call now to book a demonstration of Cyrus’ exciting new family of streamers.
